Mackenzie joined ECONorthwest as an associate in 2022. She specializes in affordable housing, housing policy, and financial analysis. Prior to joining ECONorthwest, Mackenzie worked with the Washington State Housing Finance Commission to analyze the impact of cost containment policies on Washington Low-Income Housing Tax Credit allocation. Mackenzie also has prior experience in direct service, providing housing case management and financial assistance for domestic violence survivors in King County. Mackenzie is passionate about advocating for vulnerable communities within local housing and homelessness systems and focused her MPA work on equitable and affordable housing development policy.
