The Oregon Business Development Department (“Business Oregon” or “Department”), with support from the United States Economic Development Administration (EDA), is undertaking a COVID-19 economic recovery plan that will provide a roadmap that guides Business Oregon’s efforts in contributing to statewide economic recovery.
This includes an in-depth analysis of the regions, industries, and workforce most affected by COVID-19 and strategies for urban and rural communities to return to a more equitable and resilient economy. Best practices from across the country are being woven into the plan and recommendations for how existing state programs could be best leveraged are being developed.
