Terry specializes in agricultural and natural resource economics.
Terry is a senior project manager at ECOnorthwest with a background in agricultural and resource economics. With almost two decades of experience in environmental consulting, Terry specializes in helping renewable energy development companies and local governments understand the socioeconomic impacts of development projects including solar photovoltaics, wind energy, green hydrogen, tidal energy, agrivoltaics, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) on communities, local government revenues, and the economy. Her work has been used to reduce the uncertainty surrounding renewable energy development projects related to the impact of project construction and operation in terms of economic output, jobs, and income; the economic impacts for existing land use changes, especially as it relates to agriculture; renewable energy workforce and housing availability opportunities and constraints; and socioeconomic impacts of project development on public services and local government revenues. Over the course of her career, Terry has helped clients answer a broad range of questions related to the social and economic impacts of private and public investments and changes in resource availability, especially around agriculture, water, and energy resources.
