New Mexico Fire Recovery—Calf Canyon-Hermits Peak Wildfire

ECO is supporting local school districts, communities, and cooperatives with recovery to estimate the damages of the 2022 Calf Canyon/Hermits Peak Fire, which burned 342,000 acres, the largest in the state’s history. This work will be non-litigation and associated with FEMA recovery grants, but will potentially advance at a later date to litigation. Mark Buckley and Jade Aguilar will be the testifying experts at that stage.
