The University of Oregon recently settled a gender discrimination lawsuit involving psychology professor Jennifer Freyd. Professor Freyd alleged that she was paid less than her male counterparts with similar merit and seniority. ECONorthwest’s Kevin E. Cahill provided testimony in the case that included an analysis of University of Oregon professor salaries, including Professor Freyd’s. Dr. Cahill’s analysis was featured in an article about the case in Inside Higher Ed.
