Zach specializes in transportation, geospatial analysis, and statistical modeling.
Zach’s prior work includes developing an analysis of the spatial and temporal characteristics of vehicle crowding to inform capital investments in Portland’s bus network at TriMet, forecasting ridership recovery trends in the paratransit system of the same agency, and developing a retrospective study on the profit margins of peer firms for a grocery cooperative in the DC Metro Area. Zach also has a wealth of experience working with labor unions, including experience as a researcher for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, in addition to serving as the co-chair for the research committee of another union.
