Megan specializes in quantitative economic research, data analytics and survey methodology.

Megan specializes in quantitative economic research, data analytics and survey methodology. At ECOnorthwest, she supports a range of projects related to economic development, natural resources, and equitable community development. Prior to joining ECOnorthwest in 2025, Megan worked at the Bureau of Labor Statistics (Washington, D.C.) as a Senior Economist on state and area employment statistics, with a specific focus on microdata editing and screening systems. She also previously held a variety of policy, research and data-focused internships, including the U.S. Commercial Service – International Trade Association (Portland, OR), Highteam Marketing and Communications (Shanghai, CN), and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (Washington, D.C.). At the commencement of her undergraduate degree, Megan was awarded University of Puget Sound’ Ernie Combs Award for combined mastery of economic theory, analysis and its application to important social issues. She is a big-picture thinker and data-driven decision maker, who prioritizes approaching complex data from an equity-based mindset.
