Matt specializes in economic development, strategic planning, and program implementation.
Matt has almost two decades of experience in economic development, strategic planning, and market assessments. Matt previously worked at ECO, leaving in 2021 to start Washington County (Oregon)’s first Economic Development Program. At the County, Matt built the Program from scratch, growing the County’s ability to promote equitable economic development countywide. In this role, Matt and his team managed millions in COVID-era economic relief funds, created new economic development and workforce advancement services, and worked to strengthen the ecosystem of partner agencies, service providers, and businesses.
