Kyle specializes in economic development, development policy, and affordable housing.
Kyle joined ECOnorthwest in 2025 and specializes in housing and economic development. Since before he was a teenager, Kyle has had a love of cities and an interest in urban development patterns. He has studied how the built environment shapes economic and social outcomes and remains passionate about building more equitable, sustainable, and livable communities.
Prior to joining ECOnorthwest, Kyle was based in Washington D.C., where he worked as a housing research analyst under contract for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Policy Development and Research. There he analyzed best practices in affordable housing development and policy. Kyle also has experience working with local governments, having interned with the planning departments of Atlanta, Georgia and his home city of West Palm Beach, Florida. In addition, he worked in the office of a United States Senator and served as a volunteer tutor and mentor in various capacities. Since 2023, Kyle has been certified as an American Institute of Certified Planner (AICP).
