Kelsey specializes in environmental and natural resource economics and quantitative and spatial analysis.

Kelsey specializes in quantitative, microeconomic analysis at the intersection of land use, climate change adaptation, and ecosystem service provision. Her skills include discrete choice modeling, bio-economic modeling, spatial analysis, and causal inference. She has a passion for working across disciplines to provide rigorous analyses to inform decision-making. In her previous positions she has led interdisciplinary studies to investigate the effects of state conservation policies, conducted conservation policy analysis, and understood how forestland owners are adapting their management practices to the changing climate. She has published work in multiple peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management.
