ECOnorthwest conducted a workforce assessment for the Oregon Clean Energy Workforce Coalition. The analysis included defining the clean energy sector, identifying key clean energy occupations, projecting future demand for workers based on state and federal investments (e.g., HB 2021, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act), and examining demographic trends within Oregon’s clean energy workforce. The project also featured a gap analysis to highlight occupations potentially needing further development in training pathways. The assessment provides insights for targeting future investments, aiming to create a more equitable and inclusive workforce as Oregon transitions to clean energy.
