Luna joined ECONorthwest as an associate in 2019. She specializes in applied microeconomics and econometrics, research and policy analysis, finance, and synthesizes these skills across an array of economic, social and urban development projects. Prior to joining ECONorthwest, Luna conducted econometric research on climate change adaptation with United Nations Development Programme. She also modeled storm damage and delivered Cost Benefit research on coastal defense for the town of East Haven, Connecticut. She learned to use Stata, R, and ArcGIS through research and training.
